Alone in this crazy/cruel world (Part 1)

Disclaimer: This most likely is just a manifestation of my collection of stressors, experiences, encounters, and observations all put into a blended rant.

I have a brain and heart and soul. Many people can argue with me, whether a soul is something that humans have or not. But, not only do I have those things, I have characteristics, appearances, and thoughts.

You do too. Everyone does.

Unfortunately, this is not some parallel universe or another world (in those sci-fi stories). You can't live forever. You can't be the best or on top of everything. You can't conjoin bodies with another person and become Firestorm #2 (DC Legends of Tomorrow reference). You can't multiple yourself and be in many places at once (Sky High reference). You can't escape your own life and go into another person's life (The Fairy Oddparents reference). You can't say a couple of incomprehensible words and take out the bad people in this world (Harry Potter reference). You can't feel better after a break into dance and song (most of Disney Channel reference).

I'm going to stop there. My point in this is to highlight the sheer fact that humans like you and me (unless you are some supernatural being or animal reading this) go through this world by ourselves. Why? How? Well, let's see: is there a how-to-live handbook anywhere? Is there a person that is holding your hand and keeping your everything upright from birth to death? Do you enjoy eating pancakes? Is there someone (that is coexisting with you here) who knows your deepest secrets, past memories, truthful opinions, big white lies, or thirstest desires?

Side note: Drink water in life! By drink, I mean a lot of it. This is to ensure stability after any bad day, any elongated nap, any soreness from movement.

If you answered "yes," then don't waste your time reading the rest of this. Farewell and great job living so far in your life. Anyways,...

As I am listening to https://open.spotify.com/user/kta5246/playlist/0xkIJ61YwjxgzkKUjahU6l, let's move on.

No matter who you are, where you are, when you were, why you are, how you are, you are or will be alone in the end. Your lifespan is but a mere illusion that shows you there are others like you. That was my attempt at paraphrasing one of my favorite quotes.

"We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone." -Orson Welles

To be continued.
